About Aisling

Aisling is an experienced singer, teacher, performer and musical director, with years of experience working with local musical societies, as well as stage schools.

She started singing at a young age with the well-known Lindsay Singers, who have been acknowledged as one of Ireland’s leading four part harmony choirs. Aisling established the local Ratoath Children’s Choir with Larry Farrell, which she co-directed until December 2019. She loves performing and teaching children.

Having been the Ratoath Musical Society's Musical Director for six years, Aisling recently took on the Director mantle, successfully directing and producing 'Freezin'. She has also played many parts over the years in various productions and is currently the Singing Teacher for local Stage School, Addictedtodance.

Aisling has been running baby and toddler music classes since 2019, under the well-known local franchise, Singaling.

Post-covid, Aisling decided to change her class structure to suit the class sizes and adding mindfulness and other techniques.

The name Sing and Smile with Aisling comes from being a singing teacher, constantly reminding the children she teaches to smile.

Aisling loves being able to foster the musical abilities and talents of young children. She feels that music is the best therapy for all ills. She is passionate about seeing children thrive through music. As the mother of two young boys, she is thrilled that her oldest is following her passion for music. Her younger son is Autistic and this has given Aisling a great deal of insight into working with children who have extra needs and challenges.
